We wanted to add our own spin to Nashville Hot Chicken and pay homage to our roots. We took a potent spice blend—it’s extremely spicy but not mouth-numbing hot—and added it to our distinguished Bloody Mary mix.
Water, tomato paste, sugar, cayenne pepper sauce (cayenne peppers, distilled vinegar, water, salt, garlic powder), salt, lime juice (from concentrate), spices, distilled vinegar, lemon juice (from concentrate), rochester sauce concentrate (distilled vinegar, corn syrup, water, salt, garlic powder, spices, celery seed, tamarind, jalapeno peppers, horseradish (horseradish roots, vinegar, salt) and pepper extract.
Fill a shaker halfway with ice, add 9 oz Barsmith’s Nashville Hot Bloody Mary mix and 3 oz of quality vodka (substitute tequila for Bloody Maria or gin for Ruddy Mary). Shake and strain into a highball glass with ice, a celery stalk or any garnish of choice. Optionally, add salt to the glass rim before pouring.
